As a former college gymnast, it has been difficult to watch so many college teams being dropped over the years. I am really happy to see that Brockport has continued to move forward with the men’s team program. You guys have a lot of courage to stick up for our sport that is so often unappreciated by the general public. I wish all of you the best of success in the coming years.

So Brockport is a college club, but competes against NCAA Varsity teams. I just looked at the NCAA website, there’s 16 D1 programs, and 1 D3 program (Springfield). But Brockport is not yet becoming an NCAA Varsity program, but it is competing against them, right? I wish you guys the best in joining Springfield in rescuing the sport from extinction.
